The Look Good…Feel Better program is one of the best programs out there for anyone going through Cancer. It is FREE and completely product neutral, salon neutral, and non medical. I know because I teach it.
One way that I get to live richer is by donating my time helping others feel better. There is nothing better than seeing a patient leave my class feeling empowered to take charge of the way they look AND feel.
Cancer is not biased. It will attack both the rich and the poor. One way to stop it in its tracks from consuming important monies which could be going to your personal care is to go to a Look Good…Feel Better class. These classes are free and the attendees receive skincare, beauty items, and training valued at well over $250 dollars– FOR FREE!
I was interviewed for the Tacoma Relay For Life because I have for the last 15+ years volunteered for the national program Look Good, Feel Better , a collaboration between the Personal Care Products Council Foundation, the American Cancer Society , and the Professional Beauty Association|National Cosmetology Association ( PBA|NCA) .
As a licensed cosmetologist, the priviledge of helping individuals going through the visual effects of cancer, allows me to use my skills as a beauty professional, to minimize the visual impact and to EMPOWER the participants to take charge of the things they can. I feel so proud to be a volunteer trainer with this program. Helping to lead my fellow beauty professionals become a tool to be used by the attendees in assisting them in their quest to feel better is beyond my expectations.
This program is completely free because of the generous support of the Personal Care Products Council Foundation.
